User roles
Users of the RetailSonar platform can have different user roles, whereby each role is specified by different privileges. In general, the roles below are sorted from the role with the most privileges to the role with the least privileges. We distinguish the following roles:

| Super user | Next to the usual accessible modules (Marketing Efforts, Location Planning and Location Performance), the super user can access certain sections within the Admin Settings module and the majority of the pages within the Data Management module. Next to that it's the only user role that has access to the optimize module. This user can also install complex filters (using a query builder) within the Marketing Efforts modules. This user can also consult the job page from their user menu - this page shows an overview of the progress of all jobs initialized by the user. |
| Baseline manager | Next to the usual accessible modules (Marketing Efforts, Location Planning and Location Performance), the baseline manager can access the location management pages within the Data Management module. This user can also consult the job page from their user menu - this page shows an overview of the progress of all jobs initialized by the user. |
| Analyst | This user can access all usual accessible (if enabled) modules: Marketing Efforts and/or Location Planning and/or Location Performance. |
| Viewer | This user can consult the Marketing Efforts module (without the export functionality) and the Location Performance module (without the export functionality) |
