# Wealth index

The wealth index is the comparison of the average income per inhabitant of a specific region with the average income per inhabitant in Belgium. The latter is set to 100%. If the wealth index of a specific region is lower than 100%, it means that the average income per inhabitant in that region is lower than the national average income.

Wealth index is often used to finetune the Obtainable market potential.
