# Deviation (LPF)

**Deviation** is the percentage **difference** between the benchmark and real sales from your **Location Performance Framework**: 

-   (Benchmark - Real Sales ) / Real Sales = **% deviation**
    -   < 0: Benchmark is lower than the real sales → **Underestimating** the performance
    -   \> 0: Benchmark is higher than the real sales → **Overestimating** the performance
